The Manager, Finance Operations and Projects is responsible for supporting the implementation of new insurance products for Finance team, ensuring smooth integration into existing systems and processes. He/She actively identifies and resolves production issues related to finance systems and processes. This role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that align with organizational goals and enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into requirement specifications for new products and system enhancement
• Develop, execute, and manage UAT test plans to ensure system functionality aligns with business requirements
• Prepare detailed documentation, including test cases, process flows
• Resolve production issues of finance systems and processes
• Facilitate communication between IT team, Finance team, and business units to ensure clarity and alignment
• Work independently to prioritize tasks, manage deliverables, and resolve issues proactively.
• Support other finance projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field with a minimum of 5 years in insurance industry
• Experience of new insurance product implementation
• Knowledge of insurance product features and product accounting
• Experience with UAT planning, execution, and defect management
• Good documentation and writing skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
