Manager - Financial Operations

We're seeking a Manager - Financial Operations to join our dynamic and technically skilled Finance team.

Job Profile:

• Lead and oversee Financial Operations and Controls activities, ensuring robust governance and efficient finance operations processes.
• Maintain the integrity of financial reporting through effective General Ledger (GL) governance, risk-based GL reviews, and reconciliation oversight.
• Drive the implementation and continuous enhancement of the Bank's Finance Control Framework and promote a strong controls culture across the organization.
• Ensure adherence to service standards and governance requirements relating to General Ledger maintenance and review processes.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to ensure the integrity and integration of financial systems and reporting platforms.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities relating to new products, system implementations, and process enhancements.
• Provide advisory support on projects and initiatives, identifying potential impacts on the control environment and financial reporting processes.
• Lead, develop, and mentor teams while driving succession planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Banking or Financial Services, including at least 2 years in Executive level.
• Full professional qualification in ACA, ACCA, or CIMA or bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of banking products, financial reporting controls, and finance operations.
• Experience in managing finance control frameworks, GL reviews, and governance-related activities will be a distinct advantage.
