Manager for IT Systems Support - Student Information System (SIS)

The Manager for IT Systems Support (Student Information System (SIS)) is primarily responsible for the comprehensive management and administration of the University's Student Information System. The role involves direct supervision of System Support Administrators, overseeing the SIS's operational stability, performance, and user support, especially in complex hybrid or cloud-based deployment models. The Manager acts as the primary liaison with the SIS vendor, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), managing system enhancements, coordinating problem resolution, and maintaining optimal functionality of the SIS to meet the University's academic and administrative needs. Lastly, the position shall also manage and perform coordination works for other end-user systems as identified and assigned by the Director for IT Systems Management.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of Student Life Cycle/Student Information Systems (SLC/SIS), IT Service Management (ITSM), database management, and cloud-based systems.
• Proven experience in vendor management, contract oversight, and Service Level Agreement (SLA) monitoring.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills; relevant cloud certifications are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive experience in IT systems administration or management, including 1–3 years of experience with enterprise-level academic systems such as SIS.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of supervisory experience, with experience leading or supervising a technical team highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
