We are looking for a passionate and driven Manager – Fund Accounting & NAV Calculation to lead a team responsible for fund accounting operations, Net Asset Value (NAV) calculation, reconciliations, and fund valuation. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge of fund accounting or related financial services operations, proven people management capabilities, and a commitment to operational accuracy, risk management, and service excellence.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the Fund Accounting team to ensure accurate and timely Net Asset Value (NAV) calculation, fund valuation, reconciliations, and daily operational activities.
• Ensure all deliverables meet established deadlines, quality standards, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Monitor team performance, manage resource allocation, and drive operational efficiency and continuous process improvement.
• Handle escalated operational and client issues, ensuring timely resolution and effective stakeholder communication.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks, maintain effective internal controls, and ensure timely escalation of exceptions and control breaches.
• Ensure compliance with applicable audit, regulatory, and financial reporting requirements.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members through training, performance management, and continuous feedback.
• Ensure operational procedures are followed and business continuity plans are maintained and tested regularly.
• Promote a high-performance culture focused on service quality, accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma, degree, or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in Fund Accounting, Derivatives Operations, or related financial services operations.
• Minimum 3 years of proven people management experience, including team leadership, coaching, and performance management.
• Direct Fund Accounting experience is preferred. Candidates with relevant experience in derivatives, reconciliations, wealth operations, unit trusts, fixed income, structured products, FX derivatives, or equities may also be considered.
• Strong understanding of fund accounting processes, financial markets, investment products, and fund services.
• Good technical knowledge of NAV calculation, fund valuation, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Knowledge of IFRS, applicable accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership, organisational, planning, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage operational deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.
