Role & responsibilities
- Statutory Compliance: Ensure enterprise-wide adherence to the CLRA Act and state-specific labour laws.
- Vendor Governance: Manage workforce vendors, verify contractor licenses, and audit wage disbursements.
- Regulatory Liaison: Coordinate inspections and interface with government labor bodies or officials.
- Welfare & Safety Audits: Verify that contract workers receive correct minimum wages, safety gear, and site welfare amenities.
- Risk Management: Track compliance metrics and resolve potential legal liabilities or employee grievances. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors or Post Graduate Degree in Law (LLB/LLM), HR, or Business Administration.
- Experience: 13 to 15 years in statutory labor compliance or contract workforce management.
- Skills: Deep knowledge of Indian labor regulations, vendor auditing, risk mitigation, and strong stakeholder communication
