Manager, HRIS

For our client, we are seeking a Manager, HRIS to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This role will own HRIS strategy and configuration direction for core system modules, with a strong focus on operational excellence and practical solution design. You will partner closely with HR, IT, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable system outcomes while maintaining clarity, control, and accountability. The position also includes leadership of a remote team member, governance of integrations, and oversight of testing, reporting, and documentation across complex workforce environments.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Own the HRIS systems strategy and set direction for configuration of modules
• Manage the offshore HRIS Analyst, including performance management and quality review
• Serve as the final approver for sensitive changes and complex configuration decisions
• Proactively manage stakeholder relationships and communicate status and risks effectively
• Translate business requirements into minimally viable solutions, avoiding unnecessary complexity
• Govern integrations and collaborate with IT on critical interfaces and issues
• Oversee testing and ensure proper defect management for system updates and rollouts
• Maintain documentation as a single source of truth for the team

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Dayforce administration and configuration experience, with ownership of at least one full implementation
• Experience managing or mentoring remote or offshore team members
• Proven stakeholder management skills with a proactive communication style
• Ability to convert ambiguous business requirements into pragmatic, MVP-focused technical solutions
• Strong expertise in reporting, dashboards, and data analysis within Dayforce
• Experience supporting complex workforce environments, such as multi-location or multi-entity setups
• Excellent documentation skills with a focus on keeping stakeholders informed
