Manager II, Software Engineering

For our client, we are seeking a Manager II, Software Engineering to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space.

This role will guide a software engineering team responsible for delivering high-quality technology solutions that support complex business operations in a dynamic development environment. The manager will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to plan, execute, and improve software initiatives that advance organizational goals. In addition to leading day-to-day engineering execution, this leader will help shape technical direction, team performance, and the broader software development culture.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $120,000 – $145,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of mid- to senior-level software engineers
• Lead planning, development, and delivery of software projects on time and to standard
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business goals
• Drive improvements in software development practices and quality assurance
• Conduct performance evaluations and support career growth for team members
• Participate in strategic planning for the software department

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
• 5+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years in a management role
• Deep understanding of software architecture and design patterns
• Proven project management skills with complex project oversight
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
