Manager in Training (MIT) – Crunch Fitness Pre-Sale

The Manager in Training (MIT) will play a key role in the successful pre-sale and launch of a new Crunch Fitness location. This position is designed for a motivated, energetic leader who wants to develop their management, sales, marketing, and team-building skills while helping establish the gym’s membership base before opening.

The MIT will work closely with the General Manager and pre-sale leadership team to generate leads, drive membership sales, build community partnerships, execute grassroots marketing, and create excitement around the upcoming Crunch Fitness location.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Membership Growth

• Actively generate new leads through community outreach, events, businesses, partnerships, and grassroots marketing.
• Conduct membership presentations and confidently communicate the Crunch Fitness value proposition.
• Follow up with leads through phone calls, texts, emails, and in-person interactions.
• Assist in converting prospects into founding members.
• Help create urgency and excitement around pre-sale membership opportunities.
• Track individual and team sales performance and work toward daily, weekly, and monthly goals.

Team Leadership & Development

• Support the General Manager in leading and motivating the pre-sale team.
• Help train team members on approaching prospects, generating leads, presenting memberships, and closing sales.
• Set the example through high energy, professionalism, accountability, and consistent activity.
• Assist with daily huddles, goal setting, coaching, and performance tracking.
• Help create a positive, competitive, and team-oriented Crunch culture.

Grassroots Marketing & Community Outreach

• Represent Crunch Fitness at local events, festivals, businesses, apartment communities, schools, shopping centers, and other high-traffic locations.
• Build relationships with local businesses and community organizations.
• Coordinate and participate in pop-ups, promotional events, and partnership opportunities.
• Identify new opportunities to increase brand awareness and generate leads within the local community.
• Promote the Crunch Fitness brand and upcoming gym opening with enthusiasm and professionalism.

Operations & Pre-Sale Execution

• Assist with organizing and maintaining lead information and sales activity.
• Help ensure all prospects receive timely and professional follow-up.
• Assist with pre-sale events, promotional campaigns, and opening initiatives.
• Communicate daily results, challenges, and opportunities to leadership.
• Maintain a strong understanding of Crunch Fitness memberships, amenities, promotions, and brand standards.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 per week
