Manager Information Security and Risk Management - Enterprise Data Security

For our client, we are seeking a Manager Information Security and Risk Management - Enterprise Data Security to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will guide enterprise data security efforts with a strong focus on information security governance, risk management, and operational leadership. The manager will oversee a team responsible for implementing policies, driving continuous improvement, and supporting security innovation across the organization. The position also requires effective communication with stakeholders at all levels and external representation of the organization in matters related to information security and risk.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $129,100 – $214,500 annually

Responsibilities

• Manage hiring, coaching, and performance management for the team.
• Direct daily operations and implement necessary policies and programs.
• Oversee project management processes to support continuous improvement.
• Lead and advocate for organizational change and security innovation.
• Ensure compliance with corporate and information security policies.
• Communicate effectively with all organizational levels and represent the organization externally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Information Systems, or a related field required, or 6 years of experience as a substitute.
• 7-10 years of experience in Information Security, Information Risk Management, or IT.
• 7-10 years of experience presenting Information Security concepts to different audiences.
• 1-3 years of experience in a leadership role mentoring others.
• 1-3 years of experience managing staff and executing strategic business plans.
