Manager Information Security

We are seeking a seasoned Information Security professional to lead security governance and regulatory compliance oversight across the Bank's International operations, with a primary focus on the UAE. This role will serve as the central Information Security liaison between Head Office and international locations, ensuring alignment with corporate security standards while meeting applicable regulatory and cybersecurity requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination and oversight of Information Security and Cybersecurity requirements across international locations.
• Ensure compliance with Head Office Information Security policies, standards, frameworks, and control requirements.
• Act as the primary Information Security contact for Overseas regulatory matters, including engagement with the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE).
• Coordinate regulatory inspections, assessments, reviews, submissions, and remediation activities.
• Oversee Information Security risk assessments, control effectiveness reviews, and remediation of security findings.
• Coordinate response efforts for cybersecurity incidents affecting international operations and ensure appropriate escalation and reporting.
• Support compliance with data protection and privacy requirements across international jurisdictions.
• Coordinate Information Security activities related to internal audits, external audits, regulatory inspections, and independent assessments.
• Provide consolidated reporting to senior management on cybersecurity risks, regulatory compliance, security incidents, vulnerabilities, and remediation progress.
• Build effective partnerships with Country Management, Compliance, Risk, Audit, IT, and Operations stakeholders across the Bank's international network.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Technology Risk, Security Governance, or Regulatory Compliance.
• Proven experience within the Banking or Financial Services sector.
• Demonstrated experience managing Information Security and regulatory requirements across multiple countries or international operations.
• Strong exposure to regulatory inspections, cybersecurity assessments, audits, and remediation programs.
• UAE/GCC banking and regulatory experience will be highly advantageous.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with international central bank Information Security and Cybersecurity regulatory requirements, specifically those of the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) and the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB), including implementation, compliance assessments, regulatory examinations, and remediation.

Professional Certifications

Candidates should possess a minimum of two relevant certifications, including at least one of the following:

• CISSP
• CISM
• CISA
• CRISC

Additional certifications such as ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, CCSP, CDPSE, or equivalent industry-recognized qualifications will be considered an advantage.
