Manager, Interface & Permitting

Job Highlight :

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Interface & Permitting to oversee permitting activities, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder coordination for international renewable energy projects. The successful candidate will facilitate project development and execution by coordinating with government authorities, utilities, local stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure all permits, approvals, and interface requirements are completed in accordance with project schedules and applicable regulations.

Job Description :

• Manage permitting, licensing, and regulatory approval processes for international renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and related infrastructure.
• Coordinate with government authorities, regulatory agencies, utilities, landowners, local communities, consultants, and other external stakeholders.
• Oversee project interfaces among engineering, construction, environmental, legal, commercial, and project management teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor permit conditions, statutory requirements, submission schedules, and approval milestones to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Support project development activities, including feasibility studies, site development, land access, environmental approvals, grid connection, and construction permits.
• Identify permitting risks, regulatory changes, and stakeholder issues, and develop mitigation plans to minimize project delays.
• Liaise with local partners and consultants in overseas markets to facilitate project approvals and resolve regulatory or interface issues.
• Prepare permitting strategies, interface registers, progress reports, risk assessments, and management updates.
• Undertake temporary overseas assignments to support project development, permitting, and stakeholder coordination at project sites.

Qualification :

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Law, Energy Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in permitting, regulatory affairs, stakeholder management, or project interface management.
• Proven hands-on experience in renewable energy projects outside Thailand, preferably in solar, wind, or utility-scale energy infrastructure.
• Experience coordinating with government authorities, utilities, regulators, and local stakeholders in international markets.
• Good understanding of permitting processes, environmental regulations, land-related approvals, and grid connection requirements.
• Strong project coordination, negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English; additional foreign languages are an advantage.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally and undertake temporary overseas assignments based on project requirements.
