Manager IT (API Infrastructure)

For our client, we are seeking a Manager IT (api Infrastructure) to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a regulated financial services environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $118,400 – $196,800 annually

Responsibilities

• Manage and communicate customer expectations effectively
• Identify issues and recommend solutions in a consulting capacity
• Lead cross-functional activities to ensure process improvement
• Oversee analysis and implementation of recommended business solutions
• Optimize resource utilization and empower teams for quality delivery
• Develop and administer employee performance and development plans
• Manage departmental budgeting and ensure compliance with standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in IT, MIS, Computer Science or related field
• 5 years in a leadership/mentoring role
• 5 years of planning and implementing IT capabilities
• 3 years of experience presenting to varied audiences
• Preferred: 8+ years in IT infrastructure, middleware, or platform engineering
