Manager IT Infrastructure, Cloud & Digital Workplace

Role mandate

Own reliable day-to-day corporate technology infrastructure and digital workplace services across NIDO locations, users and cloud environments.

What success looks like

• Improve network, endpoint, cloud and M365 reliability.
• Create disciplined IT asset, access, backup and service-desk operations.
• Reduce user downtime and improve support responsiveness.
• Establish tested backup/DR and infrastructure monitoring.
• Standardise workplace technology as NIDO scales.

Key responsibilities

• Own LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi, internet links, firewalls operationally, servers/cloud infrastructure and site connectivity.
• Own Microsoft 365/OneDrive operations, endpoint/device lifecycle, patching, software deployment and asset inventory.
• Run service desk/helpdesk, incident/request management and user onboarding/offboarding technology execution.
• Own backup, restore testing, DR execution, monitoring, capacity and infrastructure documentation.
• Manage infrastructure vendors, ISP/MSP partners, licences and support contracts.
• Implement IAM/MFA/privileged-access controls in partnership with Cybersecurity.
• Support enterprise applications with stable infrastructure and production support.

Decision rights & boundaries

• Cybersecurity defines policy/risk/assurance; Infrastructure implements many controls operationally.
• Does not own ERP/application roadmap.
• Does not own customer-deployed product networks/OT unless explicitly handed over through a defined support model.

Ideal candidate profile

Hands-on infrastructure and workplace-technology manager comfortable supporting a distributed manufacturing/office workforce with lean internal resources and external partners.

Experience & qualifications

• 712+ years infrastructure/system/network administration with team/vendor ownership.
• Microsoft 365, endpoint management, networking, firewalls, cloud/server, backup/DR and ITSM experience.
• Strong asset/access documentation and operational discipline.
• Relevant Microsoft/network/cloud certifications useful.
