Manager - IT Procurement

• Oversees the daily activities of the technology purchasing function; reviews technology purchasing decisions, orders, and vendor contracts.

• Manage end-to-end procurement processes for hardware, software, cloud services, telecommunications, and IT-related projects.

• Lead supplier sourcing, evaluation, selection, contract negotiation, and onboarding.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and stakeholders.

• Research, interviews, and negotiates with suppliers to obtain prices and specifications; creates purchase orders for the acquisition of materials and performs related administrative tasks

• Coordinates for product support and warranties, leasing, maintenance, and software contracts, as well as hardware purchases, and license information

• Maintains vendor due diligence information and contract data

• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive procurement efficiency initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.

• Collaborate with IT, Finance, Legal, and business teams to ensure procurement requirements are met.

• Manage procurement budgets, spending analysis, and reporting.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree

• At least 5 years working experience in IT Procurement

• Experience with software licensing and volume purchasing agreements for the major enterprise system software suppliers (e.g., IBM, HP, Microsoft...)

• Experience in strategic sourcing, procurement management and vendor management

• Experience managing complex procurement projects and cross-functional stakeholder relationships

• Certification in Software License Management is a plus

• Excellent negotiation, analytical, communication, and influencing skills.

• Ability to work effectively with regional and global teams in a dynamic business environment

• Knowledge of IT procurement, technology sourcing, and supplier risk management is highly desirable

• Proficiency in spoken and written English is a must
