What they need
- Ensure that finished products are manufactured in compliance with the Quality Control Manual, ISO procedures, and defined quality standards.
- Plan and monitor monthly, weekly, and daily production activities for moulding, assembly, and packing operations.
- Monitor daily production, rejection, manpower deployment, machine breakdowns, and material availability, and share regular updates with senior management.
- Drive productivity and rejection control while establishing benchmarks for the department.
- Coordinate with Stores, Purchase, HR, Quality, Maintenance, Dispatch, and other related departments for smooth production operations.
- Plan and execute production activities in line with organizational targets and customer requirements.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions, manuals, safety standards, and 5S practices across the department.
- Identify and minimize losses related to manpower, machines, materials, and processes.
- Ensure adequate material availability for machines and packing lines as per production requirements.
- Monitor production targets, standard productivity, rejection, OEE, and other key performance indicators.
- Prepare and maintain MIS reports related to productivity, rejection, OEE, direct go, and other production parameters.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance team for timely availability of machine spares and resolution of breakdown-related issues.
- Drive Kaizen initiatives focused on safety, productivity, quality, cost reduction, and 5S.
- Coordinate with Dispatch and vendor-based assembly teams for monthly and weekly production planning.
- Conduct training and development sessions for team members and machine operators.
- Ensure effective communication of the Company's Quality Policy and production standards to the team.
- Maintain positive employee relations and ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.
