Manager Network Engineering

We're seeking a hands-on technical leader to head a network engineering team building and operating ultra-low-latency infrastructure for global financial markets. This is a senior IC-meets-leadership role — you'll set architectural direction while staying deeply credible on the technical details.

What you'll do:

• Lead and grow a team of network engineers across a global, multi-region footprint
• Own the architecture and evolution of low-latency trading networks — topology, routing, performance tuning, and scalability
• Drive initiatives end-to-end: research, design validation, vendor selection, and production rollout
• Set engineering standards, change management, and incident response practices
• Champion automation with Python and API-driven tooling
• Act as the senior escalation point for complex issues
• Own vendor relationships, budgeting, and capacity planning
• Partner with security, cloud, and platform teams on integrated solutions

What you bring:

• 10+ years in mission-critical, low-latency network environments; 3+ years leading teams
• Deep command of L2/L3 protocols: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VXLAN, PIM-SM multicast, traffic engineering
• Strong grasp of switch behavior, buffering, and deterministic performance at scale
• Hands-on automation experience (Python, API-driven)
• Solid network security fundamentals: segmentation, access control, secure design
• Proven ability to execute under pressure in a fast-moving environment
• Strong communicator who can translate technical trade-offs to leadership
