Manager - Operations & QC

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage overall flight catering operations from production to dispatch.
• Ensure timely preparation, packing, loading, and dispatch of flight meals.
• Coordinate with airlines, airport operations, production, stores, logistics, and other departments.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, portion control, and specifications as per airline requirements.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular quality checks at different stages of production and dispatch.
• Monitor temperature control, storage conditions, and cold-chain procedures.
• Ensure proper documentation, checklists, records, and quality reports are maintained.
• Handle customer/airline complaints and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor staff performance, manpower allocation, productivity, and operational discipline.
• Ensure proper handling of equipment, materials, and catering supplies.
• Conduct internal inspections and support external/airline audits.
• Identify operational issues and implement corrective measures to improve efficiency.
• Coordinate with the airport team for smooth and timely flight servicing.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, airport regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational and QC reports.
