Manager - Operations

VFS (Thailand) Ltd. is seeking an experienced Manager – Operations to join our team in Bangkok on a full-time basis. This is a strategic leadership position responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of our multiple visa application services centre. You will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth, efficient and compliant operations whilst maintaining the highest standards of service delivery to our clients. This role requires a Japanese speaker with strong operational expertise and the ability to manage a diverse team in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the visa application services centre, ensuring all processes run efficiently and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Lead, manage and develop a multi-national team, providing coaching, performance feedback and career development opportunities
• Manage operational budgets, resource allocation and cost control measures to achieve financial targets
• Monitor service delivery standards and implement quality assurance measures to maintain high client satisfaction levels
• Ensure compliance with all visa regulations, data protection laws and company procedures across all operational activities
• Develop and implement operational strategies and process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risks
• Manage client communications and resolve operational issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Prepare operational reports, performance metrics and recommendations for senior management
• Liaise with external stakeholders, including embassy officials, government bodies and clients
• Maintain secure handling and documentation of sensitive visa application materials

What we're looking for

• Full working rights for Thailand. Work Permit and Visa sponsored by the Company.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in operations management within hospitality, tourism, visa services or related customer-service-oriented industries
• Proven track record of successfully managing teams and delivering operational excellence
• Preference but not mandatory of visa processes, immigration regulations or related compliance frameworks
• Fluent spoken and written communication in Thai and English language
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operations management software systems
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and financial reporting
• Experience in training and developing team members
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs and priorities
• Proficiency in a third language spoken in the Nordic or European region will be considered an advantage and highly preferred.
