Manager - Operations

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring productivity, safety, service quality, and cost efficiency. The role ensures customer requirements are met, operational targets are achieved, and teams are effectively managed to support business growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Management

• Manage day-to-day warehouse and distribution center operations.
• Ensure operational KPIs and customer service targets are achieved.
• Monitor inbound, outbound, inventory, and transportation activities.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.

Customer & Business Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
• Conduct regular business reviews and discuss operational performance.
• Address customer concerns and implement solutions promptly.
• Support business growth through value-added services and continuous improvement initiatives.

Financial Management

• Prepare and manage operational budgets.
• Monitor expenses and ensure profitability targets are met.
• Review financial performance and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
• Support new business opportunities that enhance revenue and operational efficiency.

People Management

• Lead, coach, and develop operations teams.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
• Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Maintain a safe and productive work environment.

Reporting & Quality Management

• Review and analyze operational, financial, and KPI reports.
• Monitor performance against targets and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Support and maintain quality management systems and compliance programs.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on quality, safety, and compliance matters.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Accountancy, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, warehousing, or transportation operations.
• At least 2 years of leadership or people management experience.

Preferred

• Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
• Experience using SAP, Oracle, or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
