We are seeking a highly experienced Quality Engineering Manager with a strong background in enterprise-scale test automation, QE transformation, and automation architecture. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing next-generation automation frameworks, leading large QA organizations, driving AI-assisted testing adoption, and managing end-to-end quality engineering initiatives across complex digital transformation programs.

This role requires a hands-on leader capable of architecting automation solutions, leading large transition programs, managing client stakeholders, and building high-performing QE teams.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Quality Engineering Manager with a strong background in enterprise-scale test automation, QE transformation, and automation architecture. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing next-generation automation frameworks, leading large QA organizations, driving AI-assisted testing adoption, and managing end-to-end quality engineering initiatives across complex digital transformation programs.

This role requires a hands-on leader capable of architecting automation solutions, leading large transition programs, managing client stakeholders, and building high-performing QE teams.

Key Responsibilities

QE Leadership & Delivery

• Lead and manage a QE organization comprising 40+ QA and automation engineers across multiple workstreams.
• Define and execute enterprise Quality Engineering strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Own end-to-end quality delivery across Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and Cloud-native environments.
• Drive large-scale QA transformation initiatives and transition programs from incumbent vendors or legacy delivery models.
• Establish governance, metrics, reporting mechanisms, and quality gates across programs. Collaborate with client stakeholders, engineering teams, architects, product owners, and leadership teams.

Automation Strategy & Architecture

• Architect and implement enterprise-grade End-to-End Test Automation Frameworks.
• Design scalable automation solutions using:
• Selenium with C#
• BDD Frameworks (SpecFlow/Cucumber)
• API Automation Frameworks
• Data-Driven and Hybrid Automation Frameworks
• Cloud-native testing approaches
• Define automation roadmaps and accelerate automation adoption across projects.
• Establish reusable automation assets, frameworks, and accelerators. Drive shift-left testing and continuous testing practices.

DevOps & Engineering Excellence

• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement test automation in DevOps ecosystems leveraging:
• GitHub
• Git
• Jenkins
• Docker
• Azure DevOps (preferred)
• Enable automated quality gates and release validation practices. Establish automated reporting, monitoring, and quality dashboards.

AI-Assisted Testing

• Lead adoption of AI-powered testing solutions and intelligent test automation practices.
• Implement AI-assisted test generation, self-healing frameworks, test impact analysis, and predictive quality models.
• Evaluate and introduce AI-driven QE tools and accelerators to improve productivity and coverage.
• Drive innovation initiatives leveraging GenAI within Quality Engineering.

People Leadership

• Build, mentor, and lead high-performing QE teams.
• Define career roadmaps, competency models, and capability-building plans.
• Conduct performance management, succession planning, and talent development activities. Drive reskilling and upskilling initiatives in automation, AI, and cloud testing.

KPI & Governance Management

• Own and track key quality metrics including:

Essential Experience

• 15+ years of overall experience in Quality Engineering and Test Automation.
• Minimum 8+ years managing large QE teams.
• Proven experience managing teams of 40+ resources.
• Demonstrated experience in architecting enterprise-wide automation frameworks.
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium C# automation solutions.
• Experience delivering QE programs for large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
• Proven track record in leading large transition and transformation engagements.
• Experience working directly with enterprise clients and senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and DevOps delivery models.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure Cloud or AWS testing ecosystems.
• Exposure to Playwright, Cypress, or modern automation tools.
• Experience with performance, security, and resilience testing strategies.
• ISTQB Advanced Certification or equivalent.
• AI Testing certifications or GenAI experience within QE.
