Manager, Owners Engagement

The Hong Kong Jockey Club Founded in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club (“the Club”) is a world-class racing club that acts continuously for the betterment of our society. The Club has a unique integrated business model, comprising racing and racecourse entertainment, a membership club, responsible sports wagering and lottery, and charities and community contribution. The Division The Racing Division is committed to managing all aspects of Hong Kong’s world-class sport of horse racing, covering the full value chain — from importation and training to racedays, equestrian, welfare, integrity, and international engagement. We’re shaping racing into a dynamic sporting, social, and entertainment experience.

The Job

• Owner Retention and Reactivation

• Develop comprehensive retention and reactivation programs to keep existing owners engaged and active

• Utilize customer lifecycle analytics to gain insights and inform targeted retention initiatives

• Work on event logistics and cost control; provide on-site support to ensure successful execution of the Owners engagement and commercial partnerships events

• Drive and manage business partnerships/ sponsors to support ownership and business development to meet specific KPIs

• Understand the Ownership strategy and be able to translate it into relevant content for owners engagement campaign and tactical communication to Owners in a timely manner.

• Manage and develop the junior members of the team.

• Maintain good relationship with horse owners, handle Owners enquiries, understand their need and channel feedback and comments to Management proactively and timely.

• Contribute ideas and process, based on data and analysis, to continuously enhance and improve the ownership journey and experiences.

• Manage and develop the junior members of the team.

• Responsible for race day duties and owners events in Hong Kong and China.

• Manage ad hoc projects and perform other duties as assigned.

About You

• Degree holder in Marketing, Communications or hospitality disciplines.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Marketing & Communication, loyalty & CRM, VIP Client Servicing, preferably in luxury business and large MNC.
• Proven experience in event management, loyalty program and knowledge in enhancing customer experience.
• A natural communicator with strong negotiation skill with internal and external stakeholders.
• Customer centric, detailed oriented and strong problem-solving skills.
• Passionate and energetic; ability to motivate team and self; open to take up challenge.
• Flexible in working hours, including non office hour, weekend and public holidays.
• Presentable, mature, team player with positive and professional attitude.
