Manager Packing

About the role

Manager Packing responsible for full control of packaging quality results, ensuring accuracy of weight/gramage, seal strength (seal/sewing), and accuracy of batch number labeling and expiration dates.

Key responsibilities

• Control quality of packaging results and ensure accuracy of weight/gramage
• Ensure seal strength (seal/sewing) and accuracy of batch number labeling and expiration dates
• Design strategies to reduce production costs through minimization of packaging waste
• Monitor and analyze packaging machine performance using OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) indicators to minimize machine downtime
• Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams effectively
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards (BPOM, Halal, HACCP, GMP)

About you

• Minimum S1 education in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 3–5 years experience as Manager/Senior Supervisor in Packaging/Production division
• Strong analytical skills, problem solving, project management, and decision-making capabilities
• Effective communication, cross-functional coordination, and teamwork abilities
• Leadership skills and ability to manage teams in dynamic, target-oriented environments
• Deep understanding of automatic packaging machine operations and preventive maintenance (automatic filling & bagging machine, sealing, labelling)
• Understanding of food safety regulations and quality standards (BPOM, Halal, HACCP, GMP)
• Ability to design cost reduction strategies through packaging waste management
