Manager (Packing, Loading, FG & WIP)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Manager (Packing, Loading, Finished Goods & Work-In-Progress) to oversee packing, loading, warehouse, and inventory operations in Meru, Selangor. You will lead the team to ensure efficient material movement, inventory accuracy, FIFO compliance, safe operations, and timely delivery of FG and WIP. The role also focuses on manpower and space optimisation, operational performance, cost control, and continuous improvement to achieve productivity, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction targets.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage packing, loading, warehouse, and material handling activities to ensure the accurate, safe, and timely movement of Finished Goods (FG) and Work-in-Progress (WIP).
• Ensure effective inventory management, including inventory accuracy, proper storage, traceability, FIFO compliance, and stock control, while minimizing product damage, loss, and excess inventory.
• Monitor and manage warehouse, packing, and loading performance against established targets for delivery, safety, quality, productivity, and operational efficiency.
• Plan and optimize manpower, storage space, equipment, and material flow to maximize operational efficiency and ensure smooth daily operations.\
• Identify operational issues, analyze root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve productivity, reduce operational losses, and enhance overall warehouse and logistics performance.
• Coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality, Logistics, and other relevant departments to ensure timely availability, movement, and delivery of FG and WIP in accordance with production and customer requirements.
• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse and packing personnel to improve competency, work discipline, productivity, and adherence to safety and operational standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in packing, loading, storage, material handling, and inventory management to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support overall business objectives.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in warehouse management, particularly in packing, loading and inventory control operations.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse management software (WMS).
• Understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to warehousing and logistics
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Problem-solving skills and ability to implement process improvements
