We Are Hiring – Manager Pharmacy

Hasan Suleman Memorial Hospital is seeking a qualified, experienced, and professionally driven Manager – Pharmacy to lead and oversee hospital pharmacy operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant medication management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for pharmacy services, medication availability, inventory control, dispensing standards, and compliance with applicable healthcare and pharmaceutical regulations.

Qualification: Pharm-D / Bachelor’s or Master’s in Pharmacy. Relevant postgraduate qualification or professional certification will be preferred.
Experience: Minimum 5–8 Years of relevant experience, including managerial/supervisory experience in a tertiary care hospital or healthcare organization.
Industry Preference: Hospital / Healthcare Sector

Key Areas of Experience & Responsibilities:

• End-to-end hospital pharmacy operations and management
• Inpatient, outpatient, emergency & clinical pharmacy services
• Medicine procurement, availability, stock planning & replenishment
• Pharmacy inventory management, stock reconciliation & audits
• Monitoring of expiry, near-expiry, slow/non-moving & controlled medicines
• Medication storage, handling and temperature-control compliance
• Prescription review, dispensing standards & medication safety practices
• Coordination with physicians, nursing, procurement & clinical departments
• Drug formulary management and rational medicine utilization
• ERP/HMIS-based pharmacy inventory, consumption & reporting
• Vendor coordination and pharmaceutical supplier management
• Implementation of pharmacy SOPs, policies & quality standards
• Compliance with DRAP, Sindh Healthcare Commission and applicable regulatory requirements
• Controlled drugs / narcotics records, documentation & regulatory compliance
• Pharmacy team supervision, training and performance management
• Medication cost control, consumption analysis & wastage reduction
