Manager - Plant & Process Excellence

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Manager Plant & Process Excellence to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across the manufacturing plant. The role will focus on improving productivity, quality, cost, delivery, safety and overall plant efficiency through Lean Manufacturing and structured improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Plant Excellence and Lean Transformation initiatives across the plant.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, Six Sigma, VSM and Continuous Improvement projects.
• Improve productivity, OEE, capacity utilisation, cycle time and manufacturing efficiency.
• Develop and standardise SOPs, Work Instructions, Standard Work and manufacturing processes.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, waste elimination and process optimisation.
• Improve material flow, plant layout, production flow and internal logistics.
• Drive daily management systems, KPI dashboards and data-driven performance improvement.
• Support NPI, capacity planning, process engineering and manufacturability initiatives.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain and other functions to achieve plant targets.
• Build a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving through training and coaching.

Ideal Candidate:

• 12-18 years of experience in manufacturing, with strong experience in Plant/Operational Excellence or Lean Transformation.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Operational Excellence / Lean / Continuous Improvement leadership.
• Strong hands-on experience with Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, VSM, TPM, OEE and problem-solving methodologies.
• Experience in ETO / process equipment / heavy engineering / fabrication / capital equipment manufacturing will be highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, analytical and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification will be an advantage.
