About the Role

PT GED Lintas Indonesia is seeking an experienced Head of Pricing & Vendor Management to lead our pricing strategy, vendor management, cost optimization, and commercial negotiation activities.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that our pricing remains competitive, profitable, data-driven, and aligned with operational capabilities and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage the Pricing & Vendor Management function and team.
2. Develop pricing strategies for logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, and warehousing services.
3. Analyze transportation costs, freight rates, vendor rates, market conditions, customer requirements, and competitor pricing.
4. Manage vendor sourcing, selection, negotiation, rate management, and performance evaluation.
5. Negotiate commercial terms and rates with trucking companies, shipping lines, airlines, warehouse providers, and other logistics partners.
6. Develop and maintain vendor rate cards, pricing databases, and commercial agreements.
7. Monitor pricing margins, profitability, cost movements, and commercial performance.
8. Identify cost-saving and cost-optimization opportunities.
9. Establish pricing policies, procedures, approval mechanisms, and pricing controls.
10. Support Sales and Business Development teams in customer quotations, tenders, and commercial negotiations.
11. Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Procurement, Sales, and Management.
12. Prepare pricing, vendor, cost, and profitability reports for management.
13. Monitor vendor performance based on cost, service quality, capacity, reliability, and compliance.
14. Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key logistics vendors and partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Finance, Economics, Transportation, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience.
• Minimum 3 years of managerial or supervisory experience.
• Experience in pricing, vendor management, procurement, commercial, logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, or supply chain.
• Strong knowledge of logistics and transportation cost structures.
• Proven experience in vendor negotiation and commercial contract management.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Strong understanding of pricing, margin, profitability, and cost analysis.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP, TMS, WMS, or logistics-related systems is an advantage.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Commercially oriented and target driven.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Willing to be based in Jakarta.
