Manager, Priority Banking

Overview:

The Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the performance of Relationship Managers in the sales and distribution of retail banking products at the branch, in support of the distribution strategy to build the Retail Bank business franchise. Also responsible for achieving personal goals for the sale and distribution of products as well as services to the retail market.

Responsibilities

Functional (job responsibilities)

• Acquire, develop and strengthen customer relationships through effective relationship management in accordance with business goals.
• Manage and develop relationship with new and existing customer through professional consultative approach
• Active sourcing and prospecting of customers to expand customer base
• Up selling, cross selling through regular communication with customers
• Ensure superior customer service thereby contributing to the overall customer experience of PB
• Implement customer care programs and ensure service excellence to promote loyalty and enhance bank franchise
• Work closely with all related parties including head office to implement sales activities and constantly feedback for ongoing improvements
• Ensuring compliance within internal and external regulatory framework.
• To carry out any other duties assigned by Line manager.

Team Responsibilities

• Supporting team in sales and marketing activities, including joint calls where necessary
• Managing and monitoring team performance to ensure achievement of individual and team goals
• Implement training & development program to continuously enhance skills and competencies of team
• Resource planning and participation in hiring of right candidates for team
• Lead in coordination and communication with 3rd party for issue resolution and teamwork.

Managerial (team/group responsibilities)

• To work with Product Owner, to offer proactive and personalized financial services to the affluent segment customer.
• To support Centre Manager in promoting and developing market presences, this will ultimately deliver the individual jobholders targets and support overall Centers targets.

Organizational (organizational responsibilities)

• Responsible for managing compliance with established sales operation policies and procedure, and regulatory guidelines to safeguard both bank’s and customers’ assets.

Skills & Experience We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree/University degree. Majoring in Business, Banking, Finance is a plus
• Should possess at least 3 years of experience in the financial services business, preferably in priority or premier banking. Currently servicing a base of high net-worth clients base within HCMC
• Familiar in dealing with customers business and financial matters is an added advantage.
• Should be enthusiastic and confident in assisting people to manage investment and financial portfolios.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, a high respect for confidentiality and privacy of customer’s information are also essential to this role.
