Manager Procurement Operations

For our client, we are seeking a Manager Procurement Operations to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will lead procurement operations within a centralized sourcing function, with a focus on building scalable processes that support efficient, compliant purchasing. The manager will coach a team, partner across the organization, and help drive transformation efforts that improve buying discipline and operational performance. This is an opportunity to shape the way procurement is executed in a highly regulated financial services environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $131,400 – $160,300 annually

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead a centralized buy desk within strategic sourcing
• Coach and develop a procurement operations team, setting clear priorities and performance expectations
• Design and implement standardized procurement processes and workflows
• Oversee daily purchasing operations to ensure compliance with vendor agreements
• Develop guided buying practices to streamline purchasing and reduce inefficiencies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve procurement challenges and improve processes
• Lead procurement transformation initiatives, including stakeholder engagement and training

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing operations, or strategic sourcing, including 1+ year in a leadership role
• Ability to interpret vendor agreements and translate requirements into operational controls
• Experience analyzing procurement data and developing actionable recommendations
