Manager Procurement - Raw Material

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business requirements and budgets.
• Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, RFQs, quotations, negotiations, purchase orders, and deliveries.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, contracts, and other commercial terms with suppliers.
• Monitor market trends, pricing, availability, and potential supply risks.
• Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, spare parts, and other operational requirements.
• Coordinate with Planning, Supply Chain, Production, Warehouse, Quality, Finance, and other departments to understand procurement requirements.
• Review purchase requisitions and ensure purchases are made according to approved specifications and budgets.
• Maintain and regularly evaluate the approved supplier/vendor database.
• Develop supplier performance evaluation criteria covering quality, cost, delivery, service, and compliance.
• Monitor purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, approval matrices, and applicable regulations.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvement, supplier consolidation, and value optimization.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, quotations, comparative statements, and supplier documentation.
• Resolve supplier-related issues regarding pricing, quality, quantity, delivery, and payment terms in coordination with relevant departments.
• Monitor procurement KPIs and prepare periodic reports for management.
• Lead and develop the procurement team, ensuring effective workload distribution and performance management.
• Support audits and ensure proper documentation and transparency throughout the procurement process.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
• 6–10 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably in FMCG, manufacturing, or a similar industry.
• Strong experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, negotiations, and contract management.
• Experience with ERP/procurement systems is preferred.

Pay: From Rs250,000.00 per month
