Production Manager Greater Noida Plant

Location: Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh
Department: Operations / Manufacturing
Reporting To: Plant Head / Operations Head
Grade: Deputy Manager / Manager

Key Responsibilities

Production & Operations Management

• Lead and manage daily production activities to achieve production targets, quality standards, and delivery commitments.
• Ensure adherence to monthly, quarterly, and annual production plans.
• Drive operational excellence by optimizing manpower, machinery, and material utilization.
• Monitor production KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and output.

Production Planning & Delivery

• Collaborate closely with PPC, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure smooth production flow.
• Ensure on-time execution of customer orders and project delivery schedules.
• Monitor production bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve throughput.

Continuous Improvement & Productivity

• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, and Continuous Improvement initiatives across the plant.
• Identify and implement productivity improvement projects to reduce manufacturing costs and cycle times.
• Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and reduce downtime through preventive and predictive maintenance practices.

Quality Management

• Ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and manufacturing processes.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for customer complaints and internal quality issues.
• Work closely with Quality teams to enhance First Pass Yield (FPY) and reduce rework and rejection levels.

Team Leadership & People Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop production supervisors, engineers, and shop-floor teams.
• Manage workforce deployment, shift planning, and skill development initiatives.
• Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning.

Safety, Compliance & Housekeeping

• Ensure strict adherence to EHS policies, statutory regulations, and company safety standards.
• Promote a zero-accident culture through regular safety audits, training, and risk assessments.
• Drive workplace discipline, housekeeping, and 5S standards across the manufacturing facility.

Inventory & Cost Control

• Monitor and optimize raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory levels.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives through process improvements and waste elimination.
• Support budgeting and cost management objectives for the plant.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
• MBA/PGDM in Operations Management will be an added advantage.

Experience

• 10-19 years of experience in manufacturing operations.
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience leading production teams in HVAC, Air Handling Units (AHU), Precision Cooling, Data Center Cooling Solutions, Heat Exchangers, Chillers, Refrigeration Systems, or similar engineered manufacturing environments.
• Experience in sheet metal fabrication, assembly operations, and project-based manufacturing preferred.
