About The Role This position would lead cross-functional project team and manage multiple Car Audio programs simultaneously for OEM Geely. The position performs a variety of tasks including but not limited to coordinating all resources and stakeholders; setting deadlines; assigning responsibilities; and monitoring, summarizing and communicating the progress of the project(s).

What You Will Do

• Manage automotive programs to meet timing, cost and quality requirement
• Foster positive environment to create high-achieving team: treat all members with respect, encourage constructive dissent, re-focus team members when they get off-track, give positive feedback whenever it is appropriate, maintain a positive attitude, and reallocate resources in order to meet team commitments.
• Define tasks to be performed by cross-functional team in developing systems. Use task list to create a work breakdown structure. Use work breakdown structure to establish program schedule. Establish program budget and manage program budget.
• Ensure prompt decision-making executed by promoting consensus decisions, intervening when consensus decision-making fails, and making unilateral decisions in the case of a deadlock. Understand all of the technical detail of the products used in all systems, both electrical and mechanical.
• Lead team meetings by establishing an agenda, monitoring discussion to insure adherence to agenda, promoting a free exchange of ideas, challenging the pre-conceptions of team-members, finishing the meeting in a timely fashion, and publishing meeting minutes.
• Drive cost competitiveness from RFQ though program lifetime.
• Negotiate resource allocations from functional managers. When a resource conflict occurs, negotiate a solution with functional managers and other program managers; serve as lead program interface with sales.
• Identify program issues and risks as early as possible and drive resolution at the team level. If resolutions require management intervention, escalate to appropriate management personnel with proposed alternatives.
• Build and maintain good relationships with the customers

What You Need To Be Successful

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Major preferably in engineering like Hardware, Software, and Mechanical related.
• Minimum 5 years Customer Project Management experience managing projects throughout product development lifecycle.
• Minimum 8 years related experience in relevant product development disciplines (e.g. Engineering, Technical Management, Quality, Manufacturing, etc.)

Bonus Points if You Have

• Fluency in English is preferred.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Automotive ECU product related experience is preferred.
• Geely/Volvo program experience is preferred.

What Makes You Eligible

• Willingness to travel 20 - 30% of the time
• Willingness to work in an office in different location of Beijing
• Willingness to submit to a background screen and a drug test
