ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to take end-to-end ownership of delivering our water projects from contract award through to final site handover to operations.
In this pivotal role, you will lead projects across every lifecycle phase—from front-end detailed engineering design and workshop manufacturing, through to site installation, commissioning, Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and client handover. You will ensure complex modular process systems are built and deployed to specification, on schedule, and within budget while driving strong commercial and operational outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- End-to-End Lifecycle Execution: Drive projects seamlessly from initial award, detailed design, workshop fabrication, and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), through to site delivery, installation, commissioning, and formal handover to client operations.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Lead and align cross-functional teams across engineering design, procurement, workshop assembly, site installation, and commissioning personnel to hit key milestones.
- Project Controls & Governance: Manage scope, budget, schedule, quality, safety, and risk across multiple concurrent projects
- Site Deployment & Integration: Oversee site preparation, logistics, installation, SAT, client training, operations maintenance documentation, and final defect liability transitions.
- Contract & Commercial Management: Manage client relationships, variations, subcontractor packages, and supply chain commitments in line with contractual requirements.
- Team Leadership: Mentor, support, and direct project engineers, and site commissioning teams to maintain high quality and safety standards.
ABOUT YOU
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or a related construction management degree.
- Experience: Proven track record as a Project Manager delivering packaged water treatment plants, modular process skids, or complex industrial water infrastructure (projects up to $10M+ in value).
- Full-Lifecycle Capability: Demonstrated experience managing projects through design reviews, fabrication, FAT, site installation, commissioning, and operational integration.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong background in contract administration, project controls, financial tracking, variations, and subcontractor/vendor management.
- Communication & Leadership: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative, solution-oriented leadership style across both internal and client-facing environments.
