The role leads FF&E planning, design coordination, specification development, procurement coordination, quality assurance and control, and delivery across the Group’s global projects.

Acting as the client’s representative, the FF&E Manager works with designers, suppliers, manufacturers, contractors, and project teams from design through installation and handover. The role requires travel to project sites and manufacturing facilities to review samples and production, monitor quality and progress, resolve issues, and ensure FF&E is delivered in line with approved designs, specifications, budgets, and project schedules.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the development and management of FF&E standards, specifications, schedules, and procurement requirements for projects worldwide.
  • Define FF&E scope, requirements, and deliverables for airport lounges, hotels, F&B outlets, and other Group projects.
  • Coordinate the selection, procurement, placement, and installation of artwork, decorative accessories, and styling elements with designers, Branding and Operations teams, artists, and specialist vendors to ensure a cohesive interior that reflects the design intent and brand identity.
  • Coordinate FF&E design and delivery with HQ and regional teams, designers, consultants, suppliers, and contractors, ensuring alignment with brand standards, operational needs, budgets, and project schedules.
  • Review and approve FF&E shop drawings, material submissions, samples, and mock-ups against the design intent and approved specifications.
  • Oversee FF&E quality assurance and quality control throughout design development, manufacturing, delivery, installation, and handover.
  • Assess suppliers and manufacturers, conduct factory inspections, and monitor production to safeguard quality and delivery dates.
  • Monitor procurement, logistics, and installation; identify risks early and coordinate corrective actions with the relevant teams.
  • Work closely with Operations teams to ensure FF&E selections meet current business and operational requirements.
  • Identify sourcing opportunities, evaluate local supply chain capabilities, and maintain a database of qualified FF&E suppliers, manufacturers, and specialist vendors.
  • Conduct site visits to review installation quality, resolve FF&E issues, and support project completion and handover.
  • Provide regular reports to regional, global, and senior management on FF&E progress, cost, quality, risks, and required decisions.
  • Travel regularly to project sites and manufacturing facilities as required.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Director, Projects.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Furniture Design, Interior Design, or a related discipline.
  • At least eight years of relevant experience in FF&E, furniture or product development, manufacturing, procurement, or project delivery. Experience with hotels, F&B outlets, airport lounges, or commercial fit-out projects is preferred.
  • Proven experience coordinating with designers, suppliers, manufacturers, contractors, and project teams from design development through production, installation, and handover.
  • Strong knowledge of furniture construction, materials, finishes, manufacturing processes, and quality control.
  • Ability to review FF&E specifications, shop drawings, material submissions, samples, mock-ups, and production documentation.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to resolve issues across multiple teams.
  • Well organised and able to manage several projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive and hands-on, with sound judgment, attention to detail, and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel internationally to project sites and manufacturing facilities and to work outside standard office hours when project needs require it.
