MANAGER, PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, organise and set targets for construction activities in accordance with the approved construction work programme and project objectives.
• Monitor and manage project progress, ensuring timely completion, quality standards and compliance with project requirements. Provide regular status updates, quality assurance reports and financial reports to management.
• Monitor and control project budgets, including reviewing and finalising contracts, variation orders (VOs) and other commercial matters. Conduct regular site visits to ensure project progress and quality are in line with the approved plans.
• Coordinate and liaise closely with consultants, contractors, authorities and other relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and timely resolution of project-related matters.
• Identify and address project risks, issues and delays, and work closely with relevant parties to implement appropriate corrective actions and mitigation measures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant statutory requirements, safety standards, project specifications and company policies throughout the construction process.
• Lead and coordinate project teams to achieve project timelines, quality, cost and overall development objectives.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Property Development or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in construction, property development or project management, with managerial experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction planning, project management, contract administration, budget control and VOs.
• Good experience in coordinating with consultants, contractors and authorities.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant project management software.
• Willing to travel and conduct regular site visits.
