Manager - Purchase

Job Summary

Responsible for managing general and pharmacy procurement to ensure timely availability of medicines, consumables, equipment and other hospital supplies. Coordinates with departments to assess requirements, obtain quotations, compare suppliers and negotiate pricing and delivery terms. Oversees purchase orders, vendor follow-ups and resolution of supply discrepancies. Works closely with pharmacy, stores and finance teams to monitor stock requirements, prevent shortages and minimise excess inventory and expiry-related losses. Maintains vendor records, purchase documentation and procurement reports, and ensures adherence to approved budgets and hospital purchase policies. Requires strong negotiation, vendor management, planning and team coordination skills, with proficiency in purchase and inventory systems.

  Qualifications

• B.Pharm / D.Pharm

• Experience 7-10 years in general purchase and pharmacy purchase
