Manager - R2R

Purpose of the role/Position-

The Manager – Financial Reporting (R2R) is responsible for the end-to-end preparation, review and finalization of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and applicable statutory requirements. The position will coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure reporting accuracy and adherence to closing timelines, lead statutory audit requirements, act as the primary liaison with auditors, and supervise a team of 1–2 members.

Key responsibilities-

1. Financial Reporting and Statement Preparation:

• Lead the end-to-end preparation, review and finalization of financial statements in accordance with Ind AS and applicable statutory requirements.
• Prepare and review the balance sheet, statement of profit and loss, cash flow statement, statement of changes in equity, notes to accounts and supporting schedules.
• Prepare Income tax computation for financial reporting and tax audit related information and schedules.
• Validate financial data received from business and ensure completeness, accuracy and consistency of reported information.

2.Period-end Close and Accounting Review:

• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities, including review of general ledger balances, reconciliations, provisions, accruals, Investment accounting and accounting adjustments.
• Evaluate accounting treatments for compliance with Ind AS and company accounting policies.
• Coordinate with finance and business stakeholders to resolve reporting issues and meet closing and reporting timelines.
• Hands on knowledge of GST and TDS compliance.

3.Audit and Compliance:

• Prepare and review audit schedules, reconciliations, supporting documents and responses to audit queries.
• Lead statutory and internal audit coordination, act as the primary liaison with auditors, and ensure timely closure of audit requirements.
• Maintain appropriate financial reporting controls, documentation and audit trails.

4.Team Management:

• Allocate work, review deliverables and coach a team of 1–2 members to ensure quality and timely completion of reporting activities.

Academic Qualification - CA with at least 3 to 8 Years of Experience.

Specific work experience in the domain area

• Hands-on experience in end-to-end preparation and finalization of financial statements under Ind AS
• Strong experience in monthly, quarterly and annual closing, general ledger review, reconciliations, accounting adjustments, disclosures and notes to accounts.
• Hands-on SAP experience is mandatory
