This role will see you:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team across payroll and global mobility, fostering continuous capability growth.

  • Oversee end-to-end, compliant, and timely payroll processing across Australian and New Zealand jurisdictions.
  • Drive the global mobility strategy, supporting regional schemes and managing smooth international visa transitions.
  • Direct job evaluation, grading, and pay equity modelling to ensure our remuneration structures attract and retain top talent.
  • Partner closely with HR leadership on Enterprise Agreement bargaining cycles through cost modelling and data analytics.
  • Ensure data integrity and privacy across HR technology systems like Workday and Chris21.

You are a collaborative leader who communicates technical information clearly and enjoys building strong relationships across a matrixed organisation.

The skills and experience suited to this role include:

  • Significant experience managing a Finance or HR-related function at a senior level, including budgetary control and reporting in a matrix structure.
  • Proven track record in designing corporate salary bands, market benchmarking, and managing complex annual remuneration cycles.
  • Strong background in payroll operations, compliance, statutory tax laws, and audit controls across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Deep operational knowledge of global mobility strategies, visa sponsorship, and immigration pathways.
  • High level of commercial acumen, data analytical capability, and a passion for leading high-performing teams.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Human Resources, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
