Job Description – General Manager - Sales & Business Development

Department: Freight Forwarding & Projects

Location: Gujarat

Function: Sales & Business Development

Key Responsibilities

• • Drive new business development across Freight Forwarding, Customs Clearance and Project Logistics.
  • Identify, approach and onboard new customers and key corporate accounts.
  • Achieve assigned Revenue, Gross Profit (GP) and volume targets.
  • Develop existing accounts through cross-selling and increased business share.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through customer meetings, networking and market mapping.
  • Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate rates, and close business opportunities.
  • Work closely with Pricing, Operations and Customer Service teams for competitive solutions and smooth execution.
  • Monitor customer profitability, credit exposure, and collections.
  • Track market trends, competition, and potential business opportunities.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Submit periodic sales pipeline, Revenue and GP reports to management.
