Manager - SAP Finance

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Manager SAP Finance to lead and continuously improve SAP and non-SAP Finance processes across multiple entities and business functions.

The role will be responsible for SAP Finance process ownership, business partnering, governance and compliance, finance transformation, SAP project delivery, stakeholder management, team leadership and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end SAP Finance processes including O2C, P2P, R2R, GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Banking, Budgeting, Costing and Taxation.
• Drive standardization and adoption of SAP Finance best practices.
• Act as the functional authority for SAP Finance design, configuration, enhancements and rollouts.
• Understand business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions.
• Lead solution workshops, process design and business sign-offs.
• Ensure ITGC, application controls, audit readiness and statutory compliance.
• Support internal, external, tax and statutory audits.
• Identify opportunities for process automation, optimization and re-engineering.
• Drive SAP best practices and S/4HANA readiness initiatives.
• Oversee SAP integration with systems such as Tally, SAP B1, banking systems, HMS, TMS and digital-signature platforms.
• Ensure data accuracy, reconciliation and end-to-end data flow.
• Lead SAP Finance implementations, rollouts, upgrades and enhancement projects.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks and vendor performance.
• Lead and mentor SAP Finance team members and support capability development.
• Manage SAP implementation partners, AMS vendors and third-party solution providers.
• Monitor SLAs and drive continuous service improvement.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP FI / SAP Finance.
• Excellent knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting and Bank Accounting.
• Good understanding of SAP CO and integration with MM/SD.
• Experience in SAP implementation, rollout, enhancement and support projects.
• Exposure to S/4HANA and finance transformation initiatives.
• Experience with audits, controls and compliance.
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills.
• Project and team management experience.
• Experience working in multi-entity and diversified business environments.

Eligibility

• CA mandatory
• 8–12 years of overall experience.
• Minimum 6–8 years of SAP Finance & Accounting experience.
• Experience in Infrastructure / Services environments is preferred.
• Strong exposure to SAP projects, enhancements, audits and finance transformation initiatives.
