Manager - SAP Functional Lead

Role & responsibilities

S/4HANA Implementation Hands-on Delivery

• Lead the S/4HANA programme across all Kores divisions end-to-end: fit-to-standard workshops, solution design, build, testing, cutover, go-live and hypercare, using the SAP Activate methodology

• Design a common Kores template (organisation structure, master data, core processes) and roll it out division by division, handling division-specific needs such as pharma batch and quality management or foundry production without over-customising

• Personally configure, prototype and validate solutions in key modules; write and review functional specifications and sign off on solution design documents

• Lead data migration cleansing, mapping, loading (SAP Migration Cockpit), reconciliation and sign-off with business data owners

• Plan and run unit, integration (SIT), user acceptance (UAT) and regression testing, and own defect resolution

• Plan and execute cutover with mock runs, rollback plans and business readiness checks; stabilise each division after go-live and hand over cleanly to support

Business Process and Change Management

• Work with division heads and key users to map current processes, identify gaps and move each division to standard S/4HANA best practices
• Translate business requirements in Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Finance into SAP and integrated solutions
• Lead key-user training, process documentation (SOPs), and change management so every division adopts and uses the new system

Integration and Clean Core

• Deliver integration of S/4HANA with ZOHO CRM, ZOHO ManageEngine, Biziom and shop-floor

/ IoT systems (PLC & SCADA) using SAP BTP / Cloud Integration (CPI), APIs, OData and IDocs / BAPIs

• Keep the SAP core clean, lean, and upgrade-ready: use standard functionality first, build extensions on BTP, and use automation or low-code tools for non-core processes
• Review custom developments (RICEFW / ABAP) for quality, performance and upgrade-readiness

SAP Operations and Governance

• Ensure stability, performance and security of the existing ECC and S/4HANA environments during the transition; manage SLAs, incidents and change requests
• Work with SAP Basis and the cloud provider on landscape, transports, upgrades, backups, disaster recovery and business continuity
• Set up roles and authorisations, segregation of duties and controls (SAP GRC), and support internal and statutory audits
• Track programme budget, timelines, risks and issues, and report progress to IT leadership and the steering committee

Team and Partner Management

• Lead and mentor the SAP module leads FI-CO, MM, SD, PP, QM, Basis and Development – and build in-house capability to reduce dependence on external consultants
• Manage implementation partners and vendors: scope, statements of work, deliverables, quality and commercials
• Act as the single point of contact for SAP across all divisions

Preferred candidate profile

• 12–15 years of hands-on SAP experience, including at least 2 years on SAP S/4HANA
• At least one full-cycle S/4HANA implementation delivered end-to-end as implementation lead or lead consultant – from fit-to-standard / blueprint through go-live and hypercare
• Hands-on ECC to S/4HANA migration experience (greenfield, brownfield system conversion or selective data transition)
• Experience designing and rolling out a common SAP template across multiple company codes, plants or business divisions
• Hands-on configuration expertise in FI-CO plus at least one logistics module (MM, SD or PP), with strong understanding of end-to-end processes – Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay,

Plan-to-Produce and Record-to-Report

• Manufacturing industry background, ideally in a multi-business group; exposure to pharma (batch management, QM, GMP / validation) or discrete and process manufacturing (foundry, engineering) is a strong advantage
• Experience with RISE with SAP / S/4HANA Private Cloud or Public Cloud (GROW with SAP), following a fit-to-standard and clean-core approach
• Experience managing SAP implementation partners (SIs), consultants and vendors
