Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced, responsible, and disciplined Manager Security to oversee and manage all security operations of the organization. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, customers, visitors, company assets, and premises.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and supervise all security operations of the premises.

• Lead and manage the security team, including Security Officers, Supervisors, Guards, and other security personnel.

• Prepare and implement security policies, procedures, and SOPs.

• Ensure proper security coverage at all entrances, exits, parking areas, common areas, offices, and other critical locations.

• Monitor and control the entry and exit of employees, visitors, contractors, vehicles, and vendors.

• Ensure proper visitor management and access-control procedures.

• Supervise and monitor CCTV surveillance systems and ensure continuous monitoring of critical areas.

• Conduct regular security inspections and identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities.

• Prepare and implement emergency response and evacuation procedures.

• Coordinate security arrangements during VIP visits, events, meetings, and other special activities.

• Maintain close coordination with Police, Rescue 1122, Fire Brigade, Civil Defence, and other relevant authorities when required.

• Investigate security incidents, theft, damage, misconduct, unauthorized access, and other security-related matters.

• Prepare detailed incident reports and submit them to senior management.

• Ensure proper implementation of fire and life-safety procedures in coordination with the relevant departments.

• Conduct regular drills for emergency response, evacuation, fire, and other security situations.

• Monitor security staff attendance, discipline, performance, uniforms, and deployment.

• Prepare and manage security duty rosters and shift schedules.

• Ensure that security guards are properly trained and briefed regarding their duties.

• Monitor parking security and ensure proper control of vehicles entering and leaving the premises.

• Maintain proper records of incidents, visitors, vehicles, keys, access cards, and other security-related matters.

• Coordinate with HR, Administration, Engineering, Operations, and other departments regarding security matters.

• Review security risks and recommend appropriate improvements to management.

• Ensure proper handling and safeguarding of company keys, access cards, security equipment, and sensitive areas.

• Monitor security contractor performance, where applicable.

• Ensure compliance with company security policies and applicable laws and regulations.

• Take immediate and appropriate action during emergencies and security incidents.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly security reports for management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related field will be preferred.

• 5–10 years of relevant security management experience, preferably in a mall, commercial building, hotel, construction company, property management, or corporate environment.

• Previous experience in a managerial/supervisory security position is required.

• Strong knowledge of security operations, access control, CCTV surveillance, emergency response, and incident management.

• Excellent leadership and team-management skills.

• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to handle emergency and high-pressure situations effectively.

• Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word and Excel.

• Strong reporting and documentation skills.

• Physically fit and capable of conducting regular site/security inspections.

• Honest, disciplined, responsible, and professionally presentable.

• Willingness to work in shifts and handle emergency situations when required.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Retired Pakistan Army Officer, preferably at the rank of Major or above.

• Candidates with a strong military/security background and proven experience in security management will be highly preferred.

• Minimum 5–10 years of relevant security management experience, preferably in a mall, commercial building, corporate organization, hotel, or large-scale facility.

• Strong experience in security operations, team management, access control, CCTV surveillance, emergency response, risk assessment, and incident management.

• Proven ability to manage and supervise a large security team and maintain discipline.

• Excellent leadership, communication, decision-making, and crisis-management skills.

• Knowledge of security protocols, emergency procedures, fire safety, and coordination with law-enforcement agencies.

• Professional, physically fit, disciplined, and capable of working under pressure.

Note: Retired Army Major or above will be given preference.
