Manager / Senior Manager, HPS Ecosystem Capability Development, HPSI
Responsibilities
As part of the HPSI’s Capability Development team, you will contribute to the planning, design and delivery of initiatives that strengthen the capabilities of Singapore's high-performance sport ecosystem. Working in a small and agile team, you will play an active role across the full project lifecycle — from stakeholder engagement and needs analysis through to project coordination and implementation. You will also have opportunities to work directly with Chief HPSI and contribute to group level strategic projects and organisation development initiatives, from conceptualisation to execution.
Your responsibilities span 4 areas:
Stakeholder Engagement and Consultation
- Contribute to the design and delivery of engagement sessions, workshops and consultations to gather insights, validate needs and build shared ownership across the high-performance sport ecosystem, facilitating sessions where appropriate.
- Prepare reports, presentations, briefing papers and qualitative and quantitative analyses to support planning, decision-making and stakeholder communications.
Research and Needs Analysis
- Conduct research, environmental scans and needs analyses to inform capability development initiatives, organisation development interventions and project planning.
Capability Development and Organisation Development
- Contribute to the design and implementation of capability development solutions, including competency frameworks, learning interventions and organisation development initiatives.
Group Level Project Coordination and Administration
- Work directly with Chief HPSI to translate group level priorities into actionable plans, manage project plans, timelines, deliverables and stakeholder communications.
- Provide staffing and administrative support to Chief HPSI, including organising project meetings and working groups, managing logistics and administration for workshops and engagement sessions, and maintaining project documentation and records.
- Develop, communicate and track the organisation's strategic priorities — coordinate the annual planning cycle, facilitate strategy reviews and ensure key initiatives remain on track.
Requirements
We are looking for a motivated, curious and collaborative individual who is passionate about developing people, organisations and systems. You enjoy bringing people together to solve problems, translating ideas into practical solutions, and continuously learning and improving the way work is done. You are equally comfortable thinking strategically and paying attention to the operational details that enable successful project delivery.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in Sport Management, Business, Finance, HR, Organisational Development or a related discipline.
- At least 8 years experience in high performance sport management, organisation development, project management, stakeholder engagement or related fields.
- Proven track record of working effectively in complex, fast-paced environments and be comfortable operating with a high degree of ambiguity.
- Strong project coordination and organisational skills, with experience managing multiple workstreams and delivering quality outcomes, including in a co-lead or lead capacity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the ability to build trust and credibility quickly across all levels of the organisation.
- A proactive, adaptable and resourceful mindset, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a small team, and to navigate ambiguity with confidence.
