Manager, Solutions Engineering | AMER | Remote

For our client, we are seeking a Manager, Solutions Engineering | AMER | Remote to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space.

This leader will guide a regional solutions engineering function that partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and customer stakeholders. The role combines people leadership with hands-on customer engagement, with a strong focus on helping prospects and clients evaluate technical solutions and achieve successful outcomes. You will shape team performance, executive relationships, and customer-facing programs across the AMER region.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $234,000 – $278,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Recruit and mentor a diverse team of Solution Engineers
• Maintain a player-coach leadership style to effectively support your team
• Engage in executive sponsorship for key accounts to drive success
• Direct your team's activities based on strategic guidance and goals
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing on initiatives to increase brand awareness
• Develop customer success programs around the company's technologies
• Ensure customer needs are met through collaboration with Product Management

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in high-tech roles such as Developer or Sales Engineer/Architect
• Proven success in mentoring and managing team performance
• Experience with open-source selling or cloud product-led sales
• Familiarity with sales methodologies such as Command of the Message and MEDDPICC
• Direct experience with monitoring, data, and visualization products
• Understanding of DevOps practices like IaC and CI/CD is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to exceed quarterly targets and develop client relationships
