Manager/ Sr. Manager- SAP Material Management

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced candidate to drive and support our SAP Materials Management function. The ideal candidate will lead SAP MM implementation and support activities, optimize procurement and inventory processes and ensure seamless business operations through innovative SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead SAP MM Operations & Support – Manage and support SAP MM processes including procurement, purchasing, inventory management, material master, vendor master and service procurement.
• SAP Configuration & Enhancement – Configure, optimize and maintain SAP MM functionalities such as purchasing, release strategies, MRP, inventory management and vendor evaluation while ensuring system stability and performance.
• Project Leadership – Lead SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade and enhancement projects, managing requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment and stakeholder communication.
• Process Improvement & Compliance – Drive procurement and inventory process improvements, implement best practices, ensure data accuracy and maintain compliance with organizational policies and audit requirements.
• Team Management & User Support – Lead and mentor SAP MM consultants and support teams, provide user training, oversee issue resolution and ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Technical Expertise-Able to design, configure, support and optimize SAP MM processes including Procurement, Inventory Management, Vendor Management, Material Master Data and integration with other SAP modules. Capable of solving operational and system-related issues through innovative ERP solutions.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Material Management or related discipline
• Minimum 7–10 years of working experience in SAP MM Module in related industry with minimum of 3 years of experience in managerial role.
• Strong expertise in Procurement, Inventory Management, Material Master, Vendor Management, Purchasing, MRP, and Release Strategies.
