Manager, Supply Chain Systems Development (AI/ML & Data)

About the role

Join a leading logistics and supply chain organization as a Manager, Supply Chain Systems Development, where you will lead the development of intelligent, AI-driven solutions that transform supply chain operations. You will work across AI/ML, software engineering and data platforms, leading technical teams and partnering with business stakeholders to develop solutions across demand forecasting, procurement, warehousing and logistics optimization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and integration of AI-driven supply chain solutions.
• Develop ML solutions for demand/inventory forecasting, procurement and logistics optimization.
• Lead and mentor software and AI/ML engineers, promoting strong architecture, coding and MLOps practices.
• Work with stakeholders and customers to understand business challenges and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Drive process improvement and automation using AI and data-driven approaches.
• Build and implement data platforms, data lakes and ML pipelines to support production AI applications.
• Provide technical leadership across complex, multi-phase projects and communicate roadmaps and outcomes to senior stakeholders.

About you

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in AI/ML development.
• Proficient in Python programming skills across ML modelling and backend development.
• Experience with time-series forecasting and/or optimisation techniques.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, data lakes or modern data platforms.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP, containerization and MLOps/CI/CD.
• Experience in supply chain, logistics, inventory, procurement, warehousing or distribution is a plus.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle or WMS integrations will be a plus.
• Strong technical leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills
