Manager - Talent Management

About the role

Support and lead the Regional Talent Management initiatives to drive, manage and implement the Regional Talent Management strategy, framework, policy and processes in order to lead CIMB Group into becoming an ASEAN regional talent factory.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation of the Group-wide talent management framework to identify, develop and mobilise talent regionally for current and future business needs, including talent identification and selection, talent assessment, talent review, talent development and talent mobility
• Support implementation of talent identification and assessment approaches to identify talent at all levels across job grades and Business Units/Divisions regionally
• Support design and implementation of talent development approaches including on-the-job development, cross postings, leadership programs, development programs, and experiential programs
• Support implementation of talent review approaches to review talent status, decide on job role movements and development needs
• Support implementation of a succession management framework aligned with the overall Talent Management Framework for critical positions group-wide
• Liaise with relevant Group HR departments on talent management and succession planning matters to ensure seamless integration
• Deal with business PICs across the Group in implementation and execution of all talent management related activities
• Engage, partner and liaise with talent development institutions, academia and external consultants as part of talent management initiatives

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource, Organisational Psychology, Management Science, Organisational Behaviour or other relevant areas
• 5-6 years of relevant experience in Human Resources, Organisation Development, Talent Management, Consulting, Programme/Project Management or Business Development
• Knowledge of Talent Management Practices to ensure design and execution of talent programmes align with best practices
• Knowledge of Organisation Design and Workforce Planning Practices
• Knowledge of Rewards and Performance Management Practices
• Talent Data Analytics capability to analyse and forecast talent supply and demand
• Strong presentation and influencing skills for making compelling recommendations
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build working relationships with various stakeholders across the Group and geographies
• Project Management Certification or Business Process Improvement Certification (added advantage)
• Banking Industry experience (encouraged)
