Are you an experienced technical professional with a strong background in real estate, property management and building technology ?

We are recruiting a Manager Techniek Vastgoed / Technical Real Estate Manager for an established real estate organisation based in Groningen. This is a hands-on position with responsibility for the technical management, maintenance, renovation and sustainability of a commercial and residential property portfolio .

The Role

As Technical Real Estate Manager, you will take ownership of the technical performance and condition of the property portfolio.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing all aspects of technical property management
• Coordinating planned and reactive maintenance
• Preparing and supervising renovation, refurbishment and construction projects
• Driving sustainability and energy-efficiency initiatives
• Identifying and resolving technical issues across the portfolio
• Managing contractors, suppliers and external technical partners
• Monitoring the quality, costs and progress of technical works
• Ensuring properties comply with applicable regulations and safety standards
• Acting as a technical point of contact for tenants and other stakeholders
• Negotiating with contractors and suppliers
• Working closely with the management team on technical and property-related matters
• Visiting properties as required

Your Profile

Ideally, you will have:

• Completed HBO or WO-level education
• Experience or strong affinity with real estate and technical property management
• Knowledge of property maintenance, renovations and refurbishment projects
• Experience coordinating contractors, suppliers and technical partners
• An interest in sustainability and energy-efficient buildings
• Strong commercial and cost awareness
• Good negotiation and stakeholder-management skills
• A hands-on, practical and solution-oriented mentality
• The ability to work independently and take ownership
• Strong communication skills
• Willingness to travel when required

German language skills essential.
