Manager, Technology & Operational Risk | Banking Industry

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute technology risk management activities across the organisation.
• Assess, monitor, and report on technology-related risks, controls, and emerging threats.
• Support risk and control self-assessments, risk reviews, and remediation initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Technology, Operations, Compliance, Audit, and Business functions to enhance the risk governance framework.
• Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.
• Participate in operational risk and non-technology risk management initiatives where applicable.
• Provide risk advisory support for new business, technology transformation, and change management projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Risk Management, Business, or related disciplines.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Technology Risk, IT Audit, Operational Risk, Risk Advisory, or related fields.
• Experience gained within banks, financial institutions, or consulting firms serving financial services clients.
• Strong understanding of technology risk management, IT controls, cybersecurity risk, or technology governance.
• Exposure to non-technology risk disciplines, such as operational risk, enterprise risk, third-party risk, or business continuity management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISSP, CGEIT, or equivalent are advantageous.
