Manager, Trader Compensation & Analysis

Madison Davis is partnering with a well-established global alternative investment manager to hire a Financial Planning Manager for its Corporate Accounting group. The firm manages a mix of discretionary and systematic strategies for a global institutional investor base and invests significant proprietary capital alongside its clients.

This role reports directly to the Managing Director of Corporate Finance. It owns trader compensation end to end and also supports financial planning, forecasting, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and administer the trader compensation database.
• Calculate trader compensation monthly and annually, including interpreting and modeling the terms of individual compensation agreements.
• Support monthly financial reporting, planning, and forecasting initiatives, as well as ad hoc projects for senior management.
• Partner with Corporate Accounting and external auditors on year-end audits for domestic and international entities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of finance or accounting experience at a hedge fund, including direct responsibility for trader or portfolio manager compensation, financial reporting, and analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Strong analytical and modeling skills, with the ability to break down and map out legal compensation agreements.
• Clear, concise written and verbal communication, especially in presenting data and issues to senior stakeholders.
• Strong data skills for extracting and manipulating data for reporting and analysis.
• Highly organized, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities across teams.

Compensation and Schedule

• Base salary up to $225K, plus a discretionary annual bonus and a full benefits package.
