Manager-Training (Medical Coding-HCC)

Role & responsibilities

Lead end-to-end HCC training programs, including new hire onboarding, refresher training, and upskilling initiatives.
Develop and maintain training content, assessments, SOPs, and learning resources.
Ensure alignment with CMS guidelines, client requirements, and quality standards.
Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, quality outcomes, and performance metrics.
Collaborate with Operations and Quality teams to identify skill gaps and implement improvement plans.
Manage and mentor trainers to ensure consistent knowledge transfer and capability development.
Track and report key metrics, including certification rates, knowledge retention, and speed-to-productivity.

Preferred candidate profile

Strong knowledge of HCC Risk Adjustment Coding, including ICD-10-CM coding guidelines and risk adjustment coding concepts.
AAPC/AHIMA certification mandatory (CRC, CPC, CCS, or equivalent).
Proven experience in Training & Development, Learning Management, and Team Leadership.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, coaching, and analytical skills.
Strong understanding of CMS guidelines, quality standards, and coding compliance requirements.
Preferred Industry: Healthcare RCM / HCC Risk Adjustment Coding
